Now I’m a busy person and a self-confessed master at healthy, 5 minute recipes. My schedule pretty much goes Eat, Sleep, School, Work, Study, Gym REPEAT! The very last thing I want to do at 7 pm when I get home is cook myself a heathy meal.

We are taught that we must invest a large amount of time (and money) into adapting a healthy lifestyle. This could not be further from the truth! Over the years I have learnt that not only can a healthy diet save you money, but it can also save you time!

In the time it takes for you to order a McDonalds meal, you could have already made this delicious 5-minute salad, PLUS prepped some extra for the next days lunch!

Salad for dinner is my number one go-to! It is quick, easy, refreshing, healthy and you can put just about whatever you want in it. When it comes to making salads it is all dependant on your dressing.This nutty hemp oil dressing made with Vasse Valley Hemp Seed Oil can be added to ANY kind of salad.

5 minute recipes - salad with a nutty hemp oil dressing

SERVES - 1 main or 4 sides

TIME - 5 minutes 

INGREDIENTS - Salad

  1. 1 1/2 cups Spinach
  2. 5 Cherry Tomatoes
  3. 1/2 Medium Carrot
  4. 1/2 Cob Corn
  5. 1 can Drained Beans (can choose any kind of beans)

INGREDIENTS - Hemp Oil Dressing

 METHOD

  1. Chop up the spinach and carrot.
  2. Microwave corn for 2 minutes then chop the corn kernels off the cob.
  3. Place all salad ingredients into a bowl and lightly mix.
  4. Mix All dressing ingredients in a cup or small bowl and pour onto the salad.

Told you it was easy!!!
